OpenBet Signs Contract with Singapore Pools

OpenBet has signed a seven-year contract with Singapore Pools to provide sports betting products and services. The company hopes to get an exemption in Singapore to allow online sports betting.

Openbet has entered into a seven-year deal with Singapore Pools to provide sports betting products and act as an advisor.

Singapore’s PAP government could open its market to legalized sports betting by allowing the Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club to seek exemption of its Remote Gambling Act. Both state-owned gambling enterprises have applied to be exempt from current online laws and open betting markets to Singapore consumers.

“Signing with Singapore Pools is a landmark win for OpenBet, one which affirms the company vision and direction, and our role as a global leader in major regulated gaming markets,” said OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill.
