Hong Kong-listed Paradise Entertainment Ltd. has signed an agreement to install 50 Live Multi-Game terminals at L’Arc casino hotel in Macau, operated under the license of Big 6 casino operator SJM Holdings Ltd.
The gaming manufacturer and service provider said the LMG terminals will be installed under a revenue-sharing arrangement for an initial term of three years, renewable every two years thereafter.
Paradise Entertainment also added 217 LMG terminals to MGM Cotai, a new resort property promoted by MGM China Holdings Ltd. Paradise Entertainment said the machines were sold and were put into operation upon the opening of MGM Cotai on February 13.
“Our recent deployment of LMG terminals in Macau poses a very good start for our business in 2018. It also shows that LMGs—our flagship product—are welcomed by both casinos of gaming license-holders and satellite casinos in Macau,” said Jay Chun, chairman and managing director of Paradise Entertainment.
He said the product would “enhance the player gaming experience in casinos and provide better gaming efficiency and security, and cost-saving” for the operators.
In related news, Japan-based gaming equipment supplier Sega Sammy Creation Inc. has installed one of its signature giant electronic gaming machines at MGM Cotai, a newly-opened Macau casino resort operated by MGM China Holdings Ltd.
“Sic Bo Bonus Jackpot Maximum Fortune” is based on a traditional dice game popular with Asian casino customers. The product is 13 feet tall and has what the manufacturer called an industry-first “dice flotation system”. Sega Sammy Creation told GGRAsia by email that the single product had 24 player terminals.
