PhilWeb Corp announced it has acquired a Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp e-Games parlor through a subsidiary. The company is awaiting new licensing in the Philippines.

PhilWeb Corp announced it has acquired a Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp e-Games parlor through its subsidiary BigGame Inc. The company said it acquired Novaliches-based facility by giving 340,000 PhilWeb shares to an individual identified as Jerry D. Bolo.

According to a report on CalvinAyre.com, last month BigGame also acquired a PAGCOR e-Games site in Tarlac City from Jonathan H. Ramos for 137,500 PhilWeb common shares. In early March, Philweb announced that it acquired 15 eGames parlors from independent operators using 7.5 million shares currently kept in treasury, the website said.

Company officials told the website that they are confident they will be able to renew their license with PAGCOR soon, after it expired in August 2016.
