Isle of Man-based Playtech, the world’s largest online gaming software supplier, announced that Armin Sageder, founder of Vienna-based BGT, provider of integrated solutions for the gaming market, has been named chief executive officer at Playtech BGT Sports. The new division merges Playtech Sports companies BGT, Geneity, Mobenga, Unilogic and Playtech’s internal Sports Trading team, with more than 600 employees Nicosia, Malmö, Vienna, London, Bremen and Sofia.
Sageder will be headquartered in Cyprus, and will lead all of Playtech BGT Sports’ business and customer relations, and establish and lead a management team. He will report to Playtech Chief Executive Officer Mor Weizer.
Playtech BGT Sports will provide one-stop-shop betting, based on Playtech’s Omni-channel platform technology and IMS management solution. Registered and anonymous customers will experience seamless betting across all channels and devices, including over-the-counter, self-service betting terminals, online and mobile. Along with Playtech’s industry leading IMS management solution, “we have the opportunity to create a powerhouse for the benefit of our global licensees and their customers,” Sageder Said.
