PlayUp, the largest online sportsbook operator Down Under, has been granted a sports betting license in one of the most active markets in the U.S., Colorado.
It will operate in partnership with Bull Durham Casino in Blackhawk, through a mobile app and online.
Doug James, general manager at Bull Durham, announced, “It’s exciting for us to be able to expose our customers to sports betting and give them a great option via the PlayUp app.” He added, “The early handle numbers being reported by the (Colorado) Division of Gaming are a real testament to how much interest there is for sports betting in this state.”
PlayUp says it will use bonuses and promotional incentives to attract business. CEO Laila Mintas said, “We are trying to focus on the events each month which have the largest audiences and reward the casual bettor with more value.”
