Potawatomi Hotel Moving Forward

A fall opening is expected for the new $150 million, 18-story, 381-room hotel at the Forest County Potawatomi Community's Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee. A 1,300-vehicle parking structure also is being built to accommodate hotel guests.

The Forest County Potawatomi Community’s 0 million hotel is on track to open this fall at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino in the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 18-story hotel will offer 381 rooms. A 1,300-stall, six-story parking structure also is under construction to accommodate guests at he new hotel.

In addition, the City of Beloit and Ho-Chunk Nation intend to apply for a federal Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant that would help pay for construction projects related to the tribe’s proposed casino site. The minimum grant for urban projects is $10 million with an 80/20 match.

Greg Boysen, public works director for the city, said the projects would create 1,500 to 2,000 jobs.
