Caesars Sportsbook has signed former All-American basketball star Rachel DeMita to be a brand ambassador and also produce original sports betting content. DeMita will be one of the few women serving as a brand ambassador for a sports betting operator.
“Rachel is an incredible talent who knows how to engage with a wide array of audiences, said Caesars Digital Chief Marketing Officer Sharon Otterman in a statement. “Her deep knowledge of basketball and ability to create compelling content stands out among the many personalities in sports. We can’t wait to collaborate with her and see what she brings to life.”
DeMita will produce content, including fan engagement pieces, that will be shared across Caesars social media channels. She is slated to begin working for Caesars this holiday season.
“I’m so excited to be a part of the Caesars Sportsbook team,” said DeMita in a statement. “We are going to create some incredible content around basketball this season with the many sports fans who enjoy betting on the game. I’ll be jumping in quick, so make sure to be on the lookout!”
DeMita joins football’s Manning family, actors J. B. Smoove and Patton Oswalt and ex-ESPN broadcasters Kenny Mayne and Trey Wingo as Caesars brand ambassadors.
