The Rank Group has cited its switch to the Bede Gaming platform as one of the key reasons behind recent financial growth.
Last month, Rank announced a 13 percent year-on-year increase in digital revenue for the 46 weeks to May 14, 2017, as well as a 35 percent rise in the digital performance of its Grosvenor Casino brand.
Rank switched from OpenBet to Bede in 2016 and, following the completion of this move, was able to integrate the Kambi sports book in just 10 weeks.
Adam Joseph, director of digital operations at Rank, said, “We are extremely pleased with how we’ve been able to work with Bede to deliver such a successful outcome.
“The perceived risk of moving to newer technology was unfounded. Bede allows us the flexibility, speed and control we need to transform our digital plans, and we look forward to continuing our work with them to see how much they, and we, can grow in the future.”
Michael Brady, chief executive of Bede, added, “Our company’s mission is to become the first-choice gaming platform in regulated markets, and Rank’s digital growth is proof that we can achieve this goal.
“The Rank Group is a forward-thinking company that wants to use innovation to push the industry upwards, which is exactly the sort of attributes we look for in a partner. The strength of our platform, both in terms of security and flexibility, is second to none and we look forward to using it to continue Rank’s success.”
