The reports found that the popularity of multi-genre social casino apps is falling, with players switching their play away from personal computers to mobile phones and tablets.

The percentage of social casino gamers who play on PCs has fallen to 49 percent, while the percentage who use a mobile phone has risen to 85 percent, according to the agency.

Mutli-genre apps tend to do better with pc players, because the larger screen offers “visually interesting casino lobbies,” according to Carter Rogers, a research manager at SuperData.

Still, pc social casino gamers plays 69 minutes per session and spends nearly $80 per month, compared with 57 minutes and $40 for mobile gamers, the report found.

Multi-genre games account for 31 percent of total social casino gaming revenue on PCs and 24 percent on mobile phones, according to SuperData.
