
Due to open in Q3, The Laurus will operate as a Marriott Luxury Collection Resort. The 183-room hotel will be located on the edge of a tropical forest next to Resorts World Sentosa.
Rooms at the all-suite hotel will be spread across five floors. Visitors will also have access to courtyard spaces and a function room for larger events.
Other on-site amenities will include dining options, a swimming pool and fitness center. The Laurus will begin taking bookings from next month, Resorts World Sentosa and Marriott confirmed today (April 7).
Once open, The Laurus will be the first Luxury Collection branded property in Singapore.
Marriott and Resorts World Celebrate Singapore Heritage
Commenting on the project, Resorts World Sentosa CEO Tan Hee Teck described the hotel as a “landmark collaboration.” He said it fits in with the company’s wider approach to luxury guest experience.

Rajeev Menon, president for Asia Pacific excluding China at Marriott, described the new development as a “milestone” project for the company.

Resorts World Sentosa is also home to several other hotels, as well as a casino, restaurants, an aquarium and Universal Studios Singapore.
