Revel Revamps Player’s Rewards

Atlantic City’s struggling Revel casino debuted a new player’s lounge and launched a new player’s card in the hopes of attracting more customers to the casino. Revel officials acknowledged that the casino’s previous rewards system confused players.

Revel casino, which has struggled to attract gamblers since opening in Atlantic City in 2012, has re-launched its player’s card rewards system and opened a new player’s lounge.

Revel officials have acknowledged that its previous reward system often left customers confused. The new loyalty card features a simpler program with rewards earned faster throughout the property, the company announced.

Revel initially marketed itself as a destination resort, but when that strategy proved unsuccessful, it began marketing itself as more player friendly with affordable dining and activity options as well as high-end amenities.

The new Revel Card will now also provide access to players’ lounges such as the newly opened Premier Lounge and the casual restaurant Relish.

Players entered in the former Revel Card program will automatically be entered in the new program.
