Rhode Island’s Casinos Closed

Rhode Island’s Twin River Casino Hotel and Tiverton Casino Hotel have closed for a week.

Spokeswoman Patti Doyle said, “This is not unique to Rhode Island. We’re going to see this throughout the country. And again, this is the right thing to do from a safety perspective for our employees and our customers, and all of Rhode Island in fact.”

The casinos will reassess the situation shortly, to see if conditions have changed.
