Maryland’s smallest casino fueled a positive outcome for November by Maryland casinos. The state’s gaming revenues for the month were $140.8 million, a small increase over November 2018.
Rocky Gap Casino Resort, with just 665 slot machines and 18 table games, generated $4.4 million in revenues for the month, an 11.1 percent increase ($444,100) over last year.
Live! Casino & Hotel in Anne Arundel County also fueled the state’s positive results, generating $52.9 million in revenue, an 8.7 percent ($4.2 million) year-over-year increase.
Ocean Downs (3.7 percent) and Hollywood (6.3 percent) casinos also reported increases for the month.
Despite a 5.9 percent decrease, MGM National Harbor generated the most revenue for the month with $53.9 million. Horseshoe Casino Baltimore reported $18.4 million in revenue, a decrease of 5.7 percent.
Contributions to the state from November revenue totaled $59 million, including $44.3 million for the Education Trust Fund.
