San Manuel Casino to Open Expansion in July

The first phase of San Manuel Casino’s $550 million expansion in Highland, California will open in July with a two-floor expanded casino floor, a new high limit room, more retail shops and a new restaurant.

The expansion, which began in 2018, is the tribe’s largest since the casino opened in 2005.

The next phase will include a 17-story hotel, and a 2,800 seat events center.

The additional gaming space will bring the total to 270,000 square feet, with 1,300 more slots and 40 more gaming tables. The exclusive, more intimate Enclave high limit room will be situated next to the hotel’s elevators, bringing the total number of high limit rooms to five.

The new Serrano Vista Café will be open 24-7 serving American comfort food with a California accent. It will feature avocado and citrus ingredients and locally sourced produce and meat. The restaurant will feature a citrusy décor theme.

The new shops, which were developed from guest feedback, will include a men’s fashion shop, a women’s fashion boutique and a shop specializing in luxury tech and travel accessories.

Later developments will include a fine dining restaurant on the second floor. Eventually the pool area will have its own destination eatery.
