The Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem will become the first Pennsylvania casino to offer a Kid’s Quest facility. The Kid’s Quest children’s entertainment center will be open at the Sands by spring.
The family-owned Kid’s Quest has opened its combination day-care and children’s entertainment facilities in several Midwest casinos to great success. The facilities allow patrons of a casino resort leave their children aged six weeks to 12 years in a secure environment and under the care of trained staff members, as the children are treated to group games, a rock-climbing wall, an interactive karaoke stages, video games, arts and crafts, free-play arcade games, a half-court gym and a number of other activities.
The facilities include a “Tiny Tot Room” designed for infants and toddlers up to 2 years old that offers developmentally appropriate toys and activities for groups of children.
“We are so pleased to offer our loyal patrons a safe and engaging recreation option for their children while they enjoy dining, shopping and entertainment at our property,” said Sands President Robert DeSalvio. “This collaboration will bring a new level of guest services to the families and retail shoppers who frequent Sands Bethlehem, and allow them peace of mind knowing that their kids are having just as much fun as they are.”
Troy Dunkley, chief operating officer of Quest/Cyber Quest, added, “The opportunity to bring our concepts to a new market with Sands, a respected industry leader, is quite a privilege. With the support of the Sands team and our level of industry experience, we are confident this project will be a very successful venture for all parties involved and provide an outstanding service to the people of the area.”
