SBTech Appoints Carter as CEO

Richard Carter, former director of research at Deutsche Bank, has been named the new chief executive officer for global sports betting company SBTech. The Bulgaria-based company was founded in 2007 and has some 40 clients worldwide.

Former Deutsche Bank research director Richard Carter has been appointed chief executive officer of global sports betting company SBTech, headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Established in 2007, SBTech is a leading provider of interactive sports betting solutions and services to traditional and regulated markets.

Between 2003 and 2009, Carter worked at London-listed stockbroker Numis Securities as part of its Leisure and Gaming team and worked with gaming companies including 888, 32Red and Empire Online before joining Deutsche Bank.
