Scientific Games Corp. has launched a retail sportsbook for FireKeepers Casino, owned by the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi. The company expects to provide mobile sports betting and iGaming once all regulations are in place in Michigan.
The partnership marks the first tribal operator to offer sports betting in Michigan and builds on Scientific Games’ alliances in New York.
The first phase involves setting up Scientific Games’ OpenSports product suite for retail sports betting. Scientific Games will also provide OpenGaming and OpenSports products for the digital sports betting and casino offering, according to iGB.
