Gaming supplier Scientific Games Corporation announced that has signed an agreement to develop a slot machine based on the popular Tetris building-block video game currently played on home computers and mobile devices.
Terms of the licensing agreement were not announced. Tetris said the company has recorded more than 525 million paid mobile downloads of the game.
“We look forward to working with the Tetris team to bring the iconic video game experience to our slot machines for players to enjoy on casino floors,” said Steve Saferin, president of Scientific Games Properties Group.
