Seminoles Reward Poker Players Comp Dollars

Effective October 1, poker players at Seminole Hard Rock Casinos in Hollywood, Tampa, Coconut Creek and Immokalee, Florida now receive Comp Dollars, just like slot and table games players. As a result, players with both gaming and poker accounts will have one main account that consolidates all comp earnings at the Seminole casinos.

Starting October 1, Seminole Hard Rock Casinos in Hollywood, Tampa, Coconut Creek and Immokalee, Florida began awarding Comp Dollars to poker players, matching the systems used for slot and table games players. Poker players now will receive per hour played in lower-limit games and per hour in high-limit play in Comp Dollars, said Jason Newman, director of poker marketing for Seminole Gaming. “Each player with both a gaming and poker account will now have one main account that consolidates all comp earnings across the Seminole casinos,” Newman said.

Previously, poker players’ awards program allowed them to accumulate funds to apply for future poker tournaments. Comp Dollars may not be used for tournaments but can be applied to food purchases and hotel stays.

Comp Dollars expire after 60 days.
