Shaked to Step Down at bwin.party

Golan Shaked will step down from his positions as group director of games at online gaming giant bwin.party, but will stay on as a consultant.

Golan Shaked, director of games at bwin.party, will step down from his position as director of games at bwin.party before the company completes its proposed merger with GVC Holdings, according to a report in iGaming Business.

According to the report, Shaked, who has been group director since October 2011 and has was managing director of marketing for bwin nearly two years prior to that, will remain as a consultant until completion of the GVC merger. Finance chief Tom Waters will handle Shaked’s responsibilities during the search for a replacement.

GVC shareholders will meet on December 15 to vote on the proposed merger.
