SkyCity Entertainment Group issued a statement last week saying it expects its property in Auckland, New Zealand to reopen on August 31.
A surge in Covid-19 infections in the country forced the property to shut down once again. Absent a flareup of new cases, Auckland is expected to shift from Alert Level 3 to Alert Level 2 at midnight on August 30, allowing the business to reopen, reported Asia Gaming Brief.
SkyCity’s Hamilton and Queenstown properties have remained open.
