Slot Revenues at Connecticut Casinos Show Different Trends

Slot revenues at the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casino took different directions in the last month of 2015, which revenues going up at Foxwoods and down at the Mohegan Sun.

Slot revenues at the two casinos run by Connecticut’s gaming tribes show different trends.

Foxwoods Resort Casino showed a slots revenue of $37.7 million for December of 2015, up 4.1 percent from the year before. The total amount bet on slots was $466 million, up 4.4 percent from the year before.

The Mohegan Sun, on the other hand, posted a 3.6 percent decline in slots revenue of $47.2 million for December, a $1.8 million decline. The handle was $606.4 million, an increase of $5.8 million from December of 2014.
