Rich Roberts, president of Digital, USA, a subsidiary of Sportech, has resigned from the board of directors, effective immediately. He will work with the company until the end of August to assure a smooth transition.
His resignation came after the management of Sportech’s North American business has begun reorganization after the company dropped its Draft Day Daily Fantasy Sports activities.
Sporttech CEO Ian Penrose praised Roberts: “Rich has been an important member of the executive team, most notably during our successful digital activities in New Jersey last year. I would like to personally thank him for his contribution to the Company, and we wish him well for the future.”
