FanDuel and Sportradar have extended their partnership through 2028. Sportradar provides data and odds for the NHL, NBA and MLB. The company also provides a wide range of products which include pre-game betting services, live betting services, betting entertainment tools, live game trackers and betting widgets.
“Both Sportradar and FanDuel have established market-leading positions through investment in innovation and cutting-edge products and services and this expanded agreement enables us to work together to further evolve FanDuel’s offering, particularly in areas like in-play betting,” said Sportradar Global CEO Carsten Koerl in a statement.
In-play betting represents almost half of FanDuel’s handle.
“Low latency live data is the essential fuel for our proprietary trading models to deliver a quality in-play betting experience to our customers,” said FanDuel Group Sportsbook General Manager Niall Connell in a statement. “Sportradar’s data powers our in-house models allowing us to offer a large number of in-game betting markets.”
In related news, FanDuel will become the title sponsor at Kentucky Downs for the next three years. The sports betting giant will sponsor the Grade 3 Turf Sprint and the track’s signal will air exclusively on TVG, which is owned by FanDuel, according to the Daily Racing Form. Kentucky Downs has the distinction of offering the highest amount of daily purses in the U.S. as a result of the massive subsidies from a casino at the track. The meet this year runs for only six days in September, with 16 stakes worth $10 million.
