Station Casinos will meet with the Las Vegas Planning Commission to pitch a small new Wildfire-branded casino in Downtown Las Vegas, just south of Charleston Boulevard.

Station Casinos, which will soon break ground for its Durango Station resort in the southwest suburbs of Las Vegas, is pitching a second new casino project, this one in Downtown Las Vegas.

According to a report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Station officials were scheduled to meet this week with the Las Vegas Planning Commission to pitch the new one-story boutique casino, the 21,000-square-foot Wildfire Casino. The new casino would be on a five-acre plot at 2700 Fremont Street, just south of Charleston Boulevard.

Station operates several Wildfire-branded casinos in the Las Vegas Valley.
