Station Casinos, which will soon break ground for its Durango Station resort in the southwest suburbs of Las Vegas, is pitching a second new casino project, this one in Downtown Las Vegas.
According to a report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Station officials were scheduled to meet this week with the Las Vegas Planning Commission to pitch the new one-story boutique casino, the 21,000-square-foot Wildfire Casino. The new casino would be on a five-acre plot at 2700 Fremont Street, just south of Charleston Boulevard.
Station operates several Wildfire-branded casinos in the Las Vegas Valley.
