UK-based developer and manufacturer Storm Gaming Technology recently entered into a licensing partnership with ITV, the UK’s leading commercial television corporation, for gaming content development rights for “The Chase” TV show. The agreement covers all aspects of retail/offline pay-to-play gaming, including both Cat C AWP and SWP content.

One of ITV’s most successful daytime shows, “The Chase” has been nominated three times and this year was voted Best Daytime Show at the National Television Awards. It also has been franchised to nine other countries, including the U.S. and Australia.

Managing Director of Storm Gaming Richard Sheldon said, “’The Chase’ is a superb brand and the start of what we are confident will be a great relationship with ITV. We will be producing both analogue and video-based AWP and gaming products, aimed at a range of market sectors. In addition, we have secured the SWP rights with a definite idea in mind. The show format provides great synergies for content development and between three and five million viewers enjoy the show every day in the UK, so the power and popularity of the brand is totally proven.”

Storm Gaming Technology previously secured brand licensing agreements for the MotoGP racing series and the iconic “Carry On” movie franchise
