Acres to Install 1,000 Cashless Tables in 2025

Acres Manufacturing Company (AMC) announced that it has surpassed 1,000-unit sales of its innovative Cashless2Chips (C2C) cashless table games system. These units will be installed throughout 2025, with individual orders being placed by dozens of casinos throughout the United States.

A key component of the Cashless Casino product suite, C2C enables players to seamlessly buy in and cash out from any table game using their mobile device, accelerating the transition to a fully cashless gaming experience.

Cashless2Chips offers casinos a fast, efficient way to modernize table games. The system utilizes Bluetooth sensors at each bet position, giving players the ability to fund play via their mobile devices. A built-in 7-inch touchscreen display provides dealers with real-time transaction guidance and verification controls.

 

Washington State Approves Aristocrat Interactive’s Oasis

Aristocrat Interactive, Aristocrat’s rebranded online real-money gaming division, has received certification from the Washington State Gambling Commission to roll out its Oasis casino management system to Class III operators.
Through this new jurisdiction approval, Oasis—one of the standout products in the Aristocrat Interactive Gaming Systems portfolio—is now available to all 29 federally recognized tribal casinos in the state with a Class III gaming compact. This approval builds on Oasis’ existing authorization for Class II gaming in Washington, as BJ’s Bingo & Gaming in Fife, WA has used Aristocrat Interactive’s Oasis system for many years.

Oasis is a comprehensive casino management system designed to offer a superior experience for land and sea-based operators. Its solutions offer operational efficiency for employees, and exciting engagement for players, creating a connected customer journey on and off the casino floor.

Bede Gaming integrates GamProtect into Player Platform

Bede Gaming, a subsidiary of Germany’s Merkur Group, joined the first wave of companies to support the U.K.’s new GamProtect scheme. Developed as a means to keep customers that are displaying problem gambling behaviors safe, GamProtect provides a mechanism for participating U.K. operators to compliantly and securely share data regarding vulnerable customers across the network of operators within the GamProtect program.

Utilizing a marker-based system that informs other participating operators that a customer has been added to the GamProtect database, the scheme aims to foster a collaborative approach to monitoring player safety that will support the long-term sustainability of the industry.

The addition of the GamProtect integration builds on the comprehensive suite of responsible gaming features that the Bede platform offers through both inhouse product tools and integrations with best-in-class third party providers.

 

JCM Global Licensed by Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission

JCM Global is continuing to secure gaming licenses across the United States, and now the company has successfully passed regulatory review and has been licensed by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission.

The license enables JCM to directly sell its industry-leading technology and to support its customers throughout the state.

This new license brings the total number of active gaming licenses JCM holds to 178. JCM recently announced it secured its other newest licenses in Colorado, New Mexico and West Virginia.

In November 2020, Nebraska voters approved casino gaming at licensed racetracks within the state. With continued success in the market and the anticipated further expansion of gaming, JCM made the decision to obtain licensing, enabling the company to directly support its award-winning iVIZION bill validator, GEN5 thermal printer, and systems products for its customers operating in the state.

 

Playtech Partners with BVGroup

Playtech, PLC announced a new long-term partnership with BVGroup as its exclusive bingo provider for their brands, including BetVictor and Heart Bingo.

BVGroup has successfully migrated its brands to Playtech Bingo’s new platform, launching on both BetVictor and Heart Bingo. This partnership marks a significant milestone and further solidifies Playtech Bingo’s position as the UK market leader.

 

Casino Estoril Implements NovoVision

A few weeks after the go-live at its sister casino in Lisbon, the legendary Casino Estoril has now also implemented Novomatic’s NovoVision casino management system as the new future-proof backbone for its business.

NovoVision was implemented at the Casino Estoril with a premium suite of functionalities, enhancing the business processes as well as the player journey with the manifold tools of NV core, access, pay, promo, smart, tables and more. New NovoVision Self-Registration Terminals facilitate fast player access to the gaming floor while maintaining the highest security standards.

To enter the casino floors, players can choose to either agree to a biometric registration via fingerprint/facial scan with card or will receive a one-off QR code ticket that entitles them to pass the NV access gates. Fontainebleau Names Kevin Sweet SVP, Slot Operations

The Fontainebleau Las Vegas has named casino veteran Kevin Sweet as senior vice president, slot operations for the Strip resort.

Sweet brings more than 15 years of gaming experience to his new post. Most recently, he was chief gaming officer of the Rio Hotel & Casino. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years as vice president of slot operations and marketing for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Sweet also was vice president of corporate slot performance for Seminole Gaming. In addition to his casino experience, he has owned and operated the Dulce Hospitality consultancy.

 

GLI Promotes Zachary Kastelic to Vice President of Legal

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has promoted Zachary Kastelic to vice president of legal. Previously, Kastelic served as associate general counsel. In his new role, he oversees GLI’s legal department, including contracts, due diligence, litigation, and other general corporate matters.

Kastelic earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He also holds a Sports Wagering and Integrity Certificate from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States.
Kastelic began his career at GLI in 2022 as assistant corporate counsel. Prior to joining GLI, he served as vice president of compliance and legal at PlayUp Limited.

Empire City Promotes Erick Isaac to Finance Management Position

Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts in Yonkers, New York announced the promotion of local resident Erick Isaac to the position of drop/count manager in the Finance Department. In this role, Isaac will oversee the Drop and Count Team, ensuring compliance with all federal and state currency and gaming regulations.

He will also oversee the collection, sorting, counting, recording and secure transfer of hundreds of millions of dollars each month at one of the nation’s largest casinos.

A dedicated team member for 17 years, Isaac, a Puerto Rico native, moved to New York and began his career at Empire City in the Slots Department as a slot gaming attendant, a position he learned about through a friend. Over the years, he advanced to slots supervisor, then slots manager, and now takes on the critical role in the Finance Department.

 

BetComply hires Paola Menachem as Head of Legal and Regulatory Compliance

BetComply, iGaming’s trusted technical and regulatory compliance firm, has appointed Paola Menachem to lead its legal and regulatory compliance services.

Menachem brings with her more than two decades of experience in legal roles across the gambling industry, including more than 17 years as corporate counsel at Intralot.

She will head up BetComply’s growing legal and regulatory compliance function, which now offers licensing and compliance, due diligence, commercial structuring, IP and more.
