Sycuan Launches Tangam Slot Optimization

Sycuan Casino Resort has become the first property to deploy the Slot Optimization & Data Analytics software package to improve the guest experience for customers.

Sycuan Launches Tangam Slot Optimization

Canada-based Tangam Systems, a leader in business intelligence software for gaming, announced the installation of its new product, Slot Optimization & Data Analytics (SODA) software at Sycuan Casino Resort in Southern California.

Sycuan’s leadership team selected Tangam’s analytics products to unlock the full potential of their data—to improve operational efficiency and guest experience, and to maximize financial performance. With this deployment, Sycuan is the first casino resort in North America to deploy Tangam’s complete suite of table games yield management (TYM) and slot optimization (SODA) software across the gaming floor.

“Sycuan is dedicated to providing an enhanced gaming experience for our patrons,” said Douglas Vogelei, senior vice president of casino operations at Sycuan. “By deploying powerful prescriptive analytics tools such as TYM and SODA, our operations and analytics teams are able to get data-driven insights at the right times to drive value to our business.”

“During our initial trial, it was amazing to see how quickly we were able to get to the answers in our data through the lens of SODA,” added Sierra Weyer, director of enterprise analytics at Sycuan.

“This truly made analytics available to anyone—with intelligent recommendations, intuitive visualizations and seamless drill-downs. We are equally excited about the product roadmap over the coming months.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Sycuan as the first resort to deploy our full product suite,” said Maulin Gandhi, president of Tangam Systems. “Top-performing organizations like Sycuan are paving the way for the future of the industry by combining deep operational expertise, a data-driven culture, and the right software tools.”
