Table Trac Develops Socially Distant Solution

Table Trac of Minnetonka, Minnesota has applied for a patent for its Dynamic Automated Social Distancing product, to be used on electronic gaming machines.

The patent application was filed last week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

“We are excited to announce that Table Trac has been granted patent pending status for our innovated product and will continue to take steps to protect the intellectual property,” said Chad Hoehne, CEO and president of Table Trac. “As we review the new guidelines, policies and procedures as mandated from all gaming jurisdictions, we see this new product as an inexpensive and expeditious solution to assist our customers as they responsibly reopen.”

The recent patent application covers innovative ways to responsibly reopen casinos. Game availability and selection is a challenge for casinos looking to maintain safe social distances on their gaming floors. o Table Trac’s Dynamic Automated Social Distance solves the problem. Guests may begin play at any game, and the system will dynamically place the surrounding games out of service for other patrons, thus enforcing the distance rules without having their favorite game out of service.

Table Trac Inc. designs, develops and sells casino information and management systems. The company has more than 190 systems installed in North, South, and Central America, as well as Australia and the Caribbean.
