Tote Group Strikes Deal With Sportech

The U.K. Tote Group will expand its international horseracing betting capacity through a deal with Sportech Plc. Tote will rely on the Quantum System to enhance capabilities by securing data to Sportech’s global partnerships with leading race tracks such as The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

The Quantum system will allow Tote to feature global racing content throughout its schedule, according to SBC News.

“This agreement with Sportech demonstrates further commitment to our international development plans and a desire to see our pools betting operation lead the way in technological innovation to help grow betting on horseracing around the world,” said Tote Chief Executive Alex Frost.

In 2019, the U.K. Tote relaunched its wagering and racing betting engagements for a new generation of consumers.

“Sportech has invested heavily to develop its Quantum global network and to improve the quality of its international business. The global market for pool betting is in excess of US$100 billion and U.K. Tote Group has an impressive team with ambitious plans,” said Richard McGuire, Sportech chief executive.
