Spotlight Sports Group and U.K. sportsbook bet365 are now a team. Spotlight, which publishes the Racing Post, MyRacing and FreeSuperTips, will use the partnership to launch video initiatives through 2021.
The agreement extends sponsorship of the Cheltenham Festival series “Upping the Ante,” which had 1.7 million views and an average watch percentage of 42 percent during the 2019/20 series.
In addition, bet365 will sponsor Racing Post’s ”What a Shout” weekly production, a show that features racing experts offering analysis, according to SBC News.
“We’re delighted to grow our video content partnership with bet365,” Spotlight Digital Marketing Director Gethin Evans said. “In only a few weeks, ‘What a Shout’ has established itself as the must-watch horseracing magazine show.”
The partnership will produce daily shows for the Cheltenham Festival and feature-length round-table shows previewing the biggest events throughout the rest of the year.
bet365’s digital studios in London and Leeds, along with a marketing team will further enhance brand exposure as it is expected that there will be an increased viewership on the shows.
