The UK Gambling Commission has released a free online support toll to help consumers make complaints related to gambling.
Called Resolver, the independent tool for consumers provides information about the issue the consumer wants to complain about, and support to help the consumer write emails and letters of complaint, the commission said in a press release.
The commission noted that the tool is not an intermediary and does not act on the consumer’s behalf. However, the toll helps consumers make structured complaints and informed choices, the release said.
The service also allows consumers to store information and acts as an email service, meaning that the complaint is sent from a Resolver email address. The commission said it has worked with the team at Resolver to help develop the information available at Resolver, but thee online tool is independent of the regulator.
