The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, 15 minutes from Los Angeles will become the million Bicycle Hotel & Casino in December. The new seven-story hotel will have 99 rooms plus the Bike Brewery, a spa and elevated outdoor pool deck. It will also have 29 luxury suites. The property is known to longtime customers as the “Bike.”
Designers of the resort include Lee & Sakahara Architects and Hager Design International, Inc.
In a statement the casino said, “The Bicycle Hotel & Casino will bring unprecedented sophistication and style to the Los Angeles hospitality/gaming sector and cater to the full spectrum of card-cutting enthusiasts, national and international guests and premier poker tours.”
Managing General Partner and CEO Hashem Minaiy declared, “With the addition of the hotel property, the Bicycle Hotel & Casino is now a full-service, multi-sensory gaming and resort destination for Los Angeles and all of Southern California.” He added, “Our vision was to design and build a sophisticated and luxurious hotel property, an urban retreat which welcomes guests locally, nationally and internationally.”
The Bicycle has for years been one of the most successful card club casinos in the U.S. with 185 tables of poker and other card games, blackjack and baccarat.
