VSiN increased its partnership with iHeartMedia in an effort to expand its audience for news and information about sports gambling. As of January 1, the Las Vegas-based sports betting network will relocate its streaming radio station to iHeartRadio, a digital music streaming and podcasting service.

The agreement brings VSiN content to other markets where people can listen for free, according to CDC Gaming Reports. Network CEO Brian Musburger said the latest relationship adds to the prior efforts with podcasting and betcasting.

“We believe that removing the subscription hurdle on audio platforms will launch the critical next chapter for us on a technologically ubiquitous platform and set us up for 24/7 live programming in the very near term,” Musburger said. “This not only allows VSiN to get to more listeners on more devices but also to capture more advertising revenue.”

The latest connection comes as VSiN prepares to open satellite studios at casinos throughout the country, such as the Rivers Casino Des Plaines near Chicago.

In addition, VSiN’s existing programs will find distribution outlets through the iHeartPodcast Network. The network will create programs for EPL BetCast Radio, an iHeart program on soccer.

“VSiN is at the forefront of the sports betting industry, delivering the most credible content in the industry since it launched in 2017,” said Darren Davis, president of iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia Network Groups.

VSiN’s live audio home since early 2017 was through SiriusXM.
