William Hill Backs Out of 55 Countries

UK bookmaker William Hill is ceasing operations in 55 countries for what it says are “regulatory reasons.”

William Hill is pulling out 55 countries for “regulatory reasons.

The countries are widespread and African, Asian, South American and Middle Eastern nations.

The UK bookmaker made the announcement to its marketing affiliates by email, but offered no other explanation than it was leaving the countries for “regulatory reasons”.

As of March 26, players were no longer be able to deposit or play on William Hill sites, but do have a grace period to withdraw balances.

William Hill has already listed 28 markets where it no longer operates, such as Denmark, Belgium, China and Greece.
