Eldorado Resorts signed a long-term deal to have William Hill operates its sports books at the Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno casinos.
Eldorado Resorts Chairman and CEO Gary Carano says “William Hill is the premier sportsbook operator in Nevada” and improvements at the properties will “provide expanded betting opportunities” and “will help drive additional visitation and excitement to our casinos as we continue to invest in our downtown casino resorts.”
Pending regulatory approval, William Hill plans to open a 7,200-square-foot race and sports book at the Silver Legacy, which also will have a sports bar. An adjustable, high-definition video wall will span the books’ width, and in-game wagering will be provided.
At the Circus Circus Reno, the William Hill plans a similar renovation, including a new lounge and sports bar.
William Hill already runs the race and sports book operation at the Eldorado casino, which it has done since 2012.
With the addition of the race and sports books at Eldorado’s two newest properties, William Hill becomes one of the larger race and sports book operators in the growing Reno market. Eldorado’s three casinos are the largest in Downtown Reno
Eldorado Resorts recently bought the two Northern Nevada gaming properties and is undertaking a renovation so that all 220,000 square feet of combined gaming space at its Eldorado, Circus Circus Reno, and Silver Legacy properties provide similarly excellent experiences for visitors.
Improvements include room renovations, better dining and entertainment options, and improvements to the respective casino floors.
