Wynn Resortsheralded a new era of intimate nightclub entertainment with the April 28th opening of its Intrigue club in the Wynn Las Vegas, while Aria prepares its new Jewel.
Nightclub mogul Sean Christie partnered with Wynn Resorts to create the Intrigue, which replaces the former Tryst nightclub.
Supermodel Charlotte McKinney and 2012 Miss Universe and Miss USA Olivia Culpo hosted the Intrigue’s Friday night grand opening party. Also slated to attending were actresses Kate Hudson and Vanessa Hudgens, along with other celebrities.
The new venue is smaller and more “intimate,” in order to create a more interactive environment for patrons, and will provide and every-changing experience, Christie told Las Vegas columnist Robin Leach.
Christie says they’ll “consistently change it up,” instead of providing the same repetitive sensory overload offered at many large-scale nightclub venues on the Las Vegas Strip.
The 14,000-square-foot club retained the popular waterfall from the former Tryst nightclub and added a glass-enclosed patio area. The Intrigue also has a private, media-free club with a secret entrance and barring people from carrying cameras of any sort – including cellphone cameras.
Wynn Resorts preceded the Intrigue nightclub’s opening with its new Encore Player’s VIP club last month.
The Encore Player’s Club is located in the Encore casino across from its Surrender nightclub. It caters to high-rollers and features a live DJ and 56-inch, high-definition TVs for watching sporting events.
Signature drinks and top-brand drinks of many varieties are available, including a bottle of Dom Perignon for about $1,200.
Further south, on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip, the Hakkasan Group is preparing for the planned May 19 opening of its Jewel nightclub at the Aria, which also will provide an intimate experience for clubgoers.
The Jewel will hold up to 1,923 patrons, and each of its 50 tables will be at the heart of the action inside the 24,000-square-foot , single-room club.
Entertainment will include hosts comprised of artists of many types, as well as DJs, to help create a party-like atmosphere. The Hakkasan Group says every guest will be close to performers, creating a more intimate experience.
Music will be provided in an open-genre format, ensuring something different from the traditional DJ-spun EDM music at most other clubs. Immersive lighting and other design elements will help shape the atmosphere and create a unique venue for visitors on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Jewel also will have five themed skybox suites on a mezzanine level, as well as a bar and an area for general admission.
