International gaming testing company BMM Testlabs announced that it will be opening its newest office and product testing laboratory in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in May.

BMM Slovenia will provide product testing, certification and inspection services for games, systems, and associated equipment for the gaming industry across online and land-based gaming. BMM Slovenia will work closely with BMM’s successful European gaming labs in Spain, Italy, and Bucharest, as well as BMM’s 10 additional locations around the world.

BMM Slovenia will be led by Damjan Semec, former Gaming Department manager for the Slovenian Institute of Quality and Metrology, with 20 years of gaming laboratory experience. Semec, along with the best of a well-known local gaming lab team, represents a combined gaming lab experience of over 150 years in product and system certification.

“BMM’s reputation as the best gaming test lab in the world is strengthened by the experience of the established team we have assembled,” said Semec, now managing director of BMM Slovenia. “The team’s gaming lab experience in the areas of mathematics, source code and product testing, combined with BMM’s regional capabilities, create the foundation to deliver world-class services to European customers with aspirations to expand internationally.”

“We appreciate the opportunity to extend gaming testing in Europe for customers with this most experienced team in place,” said Martin Storm, BMM CEO. “This group has been servicing manufacturers and operators from Slovenia successfully for many years. Together we have the ability to continue that service while taking all gaming customers’ products everywhere through BMM’s global licensure. BMM offers services for every gaming product in every gaming market around the world.”
