The Chippendales male dance troupe (l., in a more social time) is out of touch for now, but those muscles continue to ripple online. Virtual strip shows “bring Chippendales to the consumer,” says Managing Partner Kevin Denberg.

Chippendales: From Your Lap to Your Laptop

You can’t keep a good man down, and to prove the point, a digital version of the Chippendales male dance troupe is now online. According to the Las Vegas Sun, Chippendales@Home is a new online experience that allows viewers to “chat, flirt, play games, get or give a virtual lap dance” with a member of the all-male beefcake revue.

Each 30-minute party will feature at least two buff dancers and be hosted on streaming platforms such as Zoom, House Party, FaceTime or Google Hangout.

“Bringing Chippendales to the consumer, as opposed to the consumer having to come to one of our live shows, is an initiative we’ve been working on for quite some time,” said Kevin Denberg, managing partner of Chippendales. “The urge to celebrate the thousands of milestone events that have either been cancelled, postponed, or gone unmarked over these past weeks have helped us crystallize what the experience needed to look like.”

The Chippendales, known for their eight-pack abs and bursting biceps, have been part of the Las Vegas entertainment scene for two decades. Its headquarters at the Rio and all other casino showrooms are shut down due to the coronavirus, but For a limited time, Chippendales@Home is being offered for free as a thank you to all first responders and healthcare workers.
