The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and hotel chain Marriott International have increased the rewards-sharing power of their most loyal patrons.
A new two-way point exchange between Cosmo’s Identity card and the Marriott Rewards program allows members to transfer points from one plan to the other. Every Identity point earned can be transferred to Marriott Rewards points, which can be used at nearly 3,800 Marriott locations around the world, the companies announced in a joint statement. Marriott Rewards members can also use their points “for almost every experience at the Cosmopolitan, including accommodations in the resort’s residential-style living spaces, casino experiences, dining, spa and more.”
“After more than three years of a successful partnership, we are thrilled to announce a new chapter in our relationship with Marriott and Autograph Collection” said John Unwin, CEO of the Cosmopolitan. “This move will positively impact both Cosmopolitan and Marriott guests by making Identity points redeemable for rooms around the world via Marriott and Marriott Rewards points even more applicable in Las Vegas than they are today.”
Guests have been able to earn Marriott Rewards points by staying at the Cosmopolitan, playing in the casino, and visiting the property’s nightclubs, restaurants, and retail shops.
