Patrons of the D Las Vegas on Fremont Street now have more dining options available, while the casino hopes to help Kanye West dig himself out of debt.
The casino has partnered with the nearby Le Thai and Bocho restaurants in Downtown Las Vegas to offer casino guests special discounted pricing on meals and appetizers.
Le Thai and Bocho are located in the recently renovated Fremont East commercial area located a couple blocks east of The D Las Vegas, and casino patrons can use their gaming rewards dollars to buy meals at the two restaurants.
The agreement is the first time a Las Vegas casino has partnered with restaurants on Fremont East to offer discounted pricing for casino patrons, D Las Vegas CEO Derek Stevens said.
“Beyond my passion for this property and our clientele is my deep-rooted support for the downtown Las Vegas community,” Stevens said. “Developing this partnership is a win-win; I’m thrilled to expand my guests’ dining options with two of my favorite restaurants, which in turn will drive additional traffic to other downtown businesses.”
Stevens also offered to help hubris-laden hip-hop singer Kanye West pay off part of his claimed $53 million debt by allowing him to keep all proceeds from an 1o,000-person concert at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, but West reportedly has not responded to the offer.
West, who is married to Kim Kardashian and noted for his infamous outbursts targeting Grammy winners Taylor Swift and Beck in recent years, recently claimed he is $53 million in debt and asked Facebook founder and multi-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg to pay it off for him.
