Veteran gaming executive David Jacques Farahi has been appointed as executive chairman of Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI), a California-based gaming and hospitality data management company.
Before being named to his new position, Farahi previously worked with QCI in an advisory role. A veteran of the gaming industry, Farahi also served as the chief operating officer for Monarch Casino & Resort, and the president of the Colorado Gaming Association from 2015 through 2021.
According to a statement from the company, Farahi will focus on everything from client relations and product development to finances and new ventures.
“It is a pleasure to work with David as an advisor and we welcome him stepping up to this new role,” said QCI CEO Dr. Ralph Thomas. “David’s knowledge of the gaming industry and his background in analytics and finance will be of tremendous value.”
With regards to his new role, Farahi said in a statement that he was “thrilled” to “further contribute to the company’s ongoing success.” Farahi also noted that he feels QCI has quickly become a leader in the industry, “not only in terms of technology and service, but also in terms of installations.”
This has been a busy year so far for Farahi, as he has also become a professor for Metropolitan State University Denver, offering introductory courses on gaming management.
