Gaming Firm RGB Develops Social Distancing Line

Malaysian gaming machine distributor RGB International Bhd, which temporarily suspended operations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, sees opportunity for innovation in the current crisis, and is “exploring the possibility of remote gaming solutions as an alternative for land-based gaming operators.”

In a statement cited last week by Inside Asian Gaming, RGB said, “We are also distributing social distancing products such as machine partitions and cashless payment solutions for gaming outlets.”

“In view of the requirement for social distancing measures in the respective countries, the group is exploring the possibility of remote gaming solutions as an alternative for land-based gaming operators. We are also distributing social distancing products such as machine partitions and cashless payment solutions for gaming outlets.

“The situation will remain fluid as governments worldwide adapt to the evolving response to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the dampened outlook in first half of 2020, we at RGB are positioning ourselves to be ready for the gradual upturn once the uncertainties subside.”
