Delaware-based online gaming company Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has expanded into Angola’s recently-regulated betting industry through a partnership with Full Games SA, an existing operator in the country.
The move is an investment into the burgeoning African betting market, and according to details of the agreement, GIG will supply both sportsbook and player account management services for Full Games.
Hervé Schlosser, managing director of GIG’s parent company Sportnco Gaming Group, told SBC News that the Angolan market is “fresh and dynamic,” with “tremendous growth potential.”
“I am extremely proud that we are one of the early movers and one of the first to secure a partnership there,” said Schlosser. “We are looking forward to working with and building a long-term relationship with Full Game SA.”
Full Games SA is a joint venture of Grupo Valisa, a Spanish developer, and Grupo Chamavo, a well-established financial management company in Angola. With this new partnership, Full Games is slated to become one of, if not the largest gaming operator in the country.
According to SBC News, Full Games chairman Francisco Simão Júnior said that “Sportnco and GIG are the perfect fit to leverage our gaming license and offer a very attractive gaming solution to all punters from Angola.”
