“The Spa and Salon at Golden Nugget is the only full-service spa and salon in Downtown Las Vegas and offers a personalized boutique spa experience, promoting an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation,” Golden Nugget Vice President Cindy O’Keefe said in a statement.
The newly renovated, 15,000-swuare-foot spa has eight treatment rooms, couples massage 4rooms, male and female spa lounges, whirlpool Jacuzzis, a choice of dry or herbal-steam saunas, showers, and locker rooms.
The salon also offers three stylist stations, two for makeup artists, and manicure and pedicure treatments. Three rooms also are dedicated to spray-tanning and skincare treatments.
The Golden Nugget also made improvements to its pool area and other parts of the casino and hotel in time for the spring tourism season to begin.
Further south on West Tropicana Avenue, The Orleans Hotel and Casino continued its $30 million upgrade by opening two new restaurants.
“Our guests have high expectations of us, and we are working hard to keep meeting and exceeding those expectations through an ambitious update of every corner of this property,” Senior Vice President and General Manager Tony Taeubel said.
The casino, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, recently opened the Alder & Birch Cocktails and Dining, which is billed as a “classic American steakhouse” and features hand-crafted drinks, house-made ginger beers, and prime steaks.
The Orleans also is opening the Ondori Asian Kitchen in February, and intends to open three more restaurants.
