Philippines-based Jade Entertainment and Gaming Technologies Inc. has announced the appointment of three new executives who will focus in part on the convergence of Asia’s land-based and online gaming industries due to Covid-19.
On February 1, Jean Rose D. Buenaventura joined the team as chief financial officer. According to Jade, she brings more than 15 years of gaming experience with Europe and Asia’s top online gaming brands such as William Hill, Ladbrokes and Mansion 88. She also established several back office and support functions for Playtech, Jade said.
Gary C. Hann has been named vice president of business development and Joseph Del Duca as vice president of international marketing.
Hann has 30 years’ experience in land-based gaming including multiple senior management roles in North America and Asia. He’s been involved in the pre-opening and operations of major Asian integrated resorts such as the Venetian Macao, the Four Seasons Macao, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila and City of Dreams Manila.
Joseph Del Duca, a specialist in marketing, communications, media and government relations, has been heavily involved in the Australian and global poker scene, having worked with PokerStars, Star Sydney, VGW and PokerNews. He has also been a leading proponent in the fight to legalize and regulate online poker in Australia as founder of the Australian Online Poker Alliance.
“This is a time of great change in the gaming industry and the events of the past year have shown us that a convergence of land-based and internet gaming is essential for business continuity,” said Jade CEO Joe Pisano.
“Jade continues to expand its team with expertise to address the convergence. As we continue to make strides into the Asian gaming scene, we are also developing a framework to go beyond our borders. Together with the team at Jade, I welcome Jean, Joseph and Gary onboard.”
