Joseph Eve CPAs announced a major contract to conduct a Title 31 risk assessment for a four-site casino operator in Oklahoma.
“As commercial and tribal gaming continues to grow, so does the frequency with which the operations are targeted by criminals for money laundering,” said Joseph Eve Senior Gaming Manager Glen Galt. “The criminals’ diligence must be exceeded by the casino’s diligence in adhering to Title 31 requirements and shoring up their defenses against nefarious activities. A Title 31 risk assessment is a positive step in the right direction.”
Joseph Eve’s Title 31 assessment includes identified risks, deficiencies within risk categories, and mitigating procedures and controls, as well as tools for customizing solutions.
This new contract is an expansion of business Joseph Eve currently conducts with the operator, including JE University, an automated, online training vehicle. JE University helps gaming operators maintain Title 31 compliance by empowering casino staff to stay constantly on top of the latest compliance issues and maintain adherence to regulatory compliance training requirements.
Joseph Eve has provided expert audit, accounting and consulting services to Indian gaming and commercial enterprises across North America for more than 25 years. The company is an associate member of the National Indian Gaming Association.
