Meredith Named DEQ Chief Legal Officer

DEQ Systems Corporation, provider of table-game bonusing, loyalty and jackpot solutions worldwide, named Charles Meredith chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Meredith served as an assistant general counsel for Sands China Limited for 11 years in Macau and also was head of legal for the Ho Tram Project Company Limited in Southern Vietnam.

Charles Meredith recently was named chief legal officer and corporate secretary at DEQ Systems Corporation, a global provider of cutting-edge table-game bonusing, loyalty and jackpot solutions. Meredith will be based in DEQ’s Las Vegas office.

Prior to joining DEQ, Meredith served as an assistant general counsel for Sands China Limited, a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, for 11 years in Macau. There he was involved in some of the world’s largest integrated resort developments including the Sands & Venetian Macau and Marina Bay Sands. In another international position, Meredith also served as head of legal for the Ho Tram Project Company Limited in Southern Vietnam.

He also worked for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office representing the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Nevada Gaming Commission.

Meredith holds a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, and received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the California State University in Sacramento. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada and is admitted to the U.S. District Court of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

DEQ President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph E.
