NetEnt has been granted a license to supply its online casino content in Romania, in the latest action in the company’s expansion strategy.

Swedish online casino content developer NetEnt has obtained a license from Romania’s gambling regulator, allowing it to supply operators in the market with its online casino content.

NetEnt obtained a Class 2 license from Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN), covering the production and distribution of specialized gaming software, as well as iGaming management and hosting facilities.

NetEnt is in the midst of an effort to expand into new regulated iGaming markets. The company has invested in technology and expertise to adapt its business for regulated markets, holding licenses and certifications in an increasing number of territories worldwide.
