The Innovation Group, organizers of the Emerging Leaders of Gaming program, and Global Gaming Business magazine (GGB) have announced the opening of their annual nomination process for the Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40, a program that recognizes young professionals making significant impacts in the casino gaming industry.
The nomination process is an open call to the industry, allowing stakeholders to nominate colleagues or themselves. Nominations are reviewed by an industry advisory board whose guidance informs the selection of the top forty candidates. Individuals named to the Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40 are profiled in GGB and honored at an annual reception during Global Gaming Expo (G2E).
“Our objective with Emerging Leaders of Gaming has always been to create opportunities for young executives in our highly competitive industry,” said The Innovation Group President Michael Soll, “Thanks to GGB and growing industry support, this program has evolved into a truly meaningful platform for our audience.”
This year’s Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40 is sponsored by a record number of organizations, including the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), GLI, the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA), and Regulatory Management Counselors, P.C.
The selection process has become increasingly competitive with nominations growing by 50 percent last year. “It’s incredible,” said Roger Gros, publisher of GGB. “The talent. The diversity. We’re able to highlight a truly impressive group of young people shaping gaming’s future.”
Nominations can be submitted at the Global Gaming Business website, www.ggbmagazine.com, through August 16. The Emerging Leaders of Gaming Cocktail Event during G2E will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at SUSHISAMBA Las Vegas inside the Palazzo.
